Let me begin by saying that the previous reviews are no longer relevant to Rosewood. The director NOW is Rebecca Radvanczy. Not only is Rebecca extremely gregarious, she has great experience in childcare and education. After reading her bio, I learned Rebecca started working with children at a very young age, working her way up as she learned and took to it so well. The children clearly love the faculty, and the student to teacher ratio allows them to have a very close bond. Despite my son being very willful with attachment issues, he actually enjoys going to school! Everyone at Rosewood has helped make his transition into school seamless! I admit, one day I called Rebecca 5 times to check on my son, and she always answered, happily giving my all the details! After a few weeks of going only 2 days a week, my son is noticeably becoming more creative and imaginative. The hours and open door policy (with special entry cards and check in and out codes) make this school perfect for my family. If you take your child in at 10 or 11, they can still get hours of play and education. Rosewood follows curriculum designed to prepare children for kindergarten. The facility is clean and very big, with multiple classrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor equipment is very fun and is all plastic, which is great in Texas! There is also a covered playground and a large indoor playroom for bad weather conditions. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my decision to send my son to Rosewood!
